SR Web Developer in NetSuite is responsible primarily for providing and leading consulting and development services to Customer Success Services clients.
This role is expected to :
Work with JQuery templates and JSON files to expose data to the front-end while communicating to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and / or delays.
Meet deadlines and creatively solve problems.
Work closely with Project Managers and other members of the Development Team to both develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Attend client meetings during the sales process and during development when needed.
Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and / or delays
You will use existing methods and best practices to develop new techniques as appropriate to create features and extensions with the highest levels of security, reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
Translates requirements documentation and graphic design into a functional NetSuite Ecommerce website.
Document and validate customer’s technical requirements and map to NetSuite functionality.
Resolves complex unique business problems using specialized knowledge and experience.
Develops best practices, features and product extensions.
Be a go-to resource for specific technical areas
Interface with other departments on features / solutions
Assist with limited scoping and estimation
Support the Sales cycle through scoping and estimation of PS engagements
Support the sales cycle through solution review and feedback
Contribute to the solutions repository / best practices, knowledge share activities
Conduct Internal trainings on Subject Matter Expertise to filter out best practices

5+ years experience in developing web sites
Experience working with RESTFUL APIs.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
Certified NetSuite SuiteCommerce Advanced Developer (to consider)

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
