GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
Responsible for managing a team that oversees the Sabre Travel Network sales and account management activities with all airlines headquartered in LAC.
Collaborate with the LAC leadership team to manage the air line of business for the region, prioritize business needs and define the optimal commercial structures to support Sabre’s growth objectives.
Lead a deal team and serve as the primary contract negotiator.
Collaborate and coordinate with Sabre headquarters on commercial terms , marketing needs, implementation activities, and product delivery.
Collaborate across Sabre’s business units in a matrix organization to serve airlines in the region that have enterprise relationships with Sabre.
Develop executive-level relationships between Sabre and our airline customers to understand their needs, collaborate on new capabilities, and promote the overall value of Sabre.
Resolve any commercial issues with airlines customers.
Drive required enhancements and other functional capabilities for airlines in the region. Ensure customer engagement strategy is consistent with Sabre’s goals and objectives.
Motivate and manage a highly effective team.
Effectively communicate the value proposition of Sabre to all customers across the Sabre marketplace, building trust and respect.
Hold people accountable for targets and objectives.
Develop and execute strategic account plans with effective negotiating skills, analytical thinking, and conflict management skills.
8 years relevant professional experience; prefer direct airline experience in distribution or revenue management or GDS industry experience with a focus on strategic customers
Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
Previous P&L management; strong organizational and leadership abilities
Fluency in both Spanish and English with excellent oral and written skills.
Commitment to ensuring stakeholders and senior leadership are always advised of project status and deliverable timetables
Proven experience in leading teams based on multiple locations, commanding projects and engagements, driving optimal results.
Strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen displaying the highest ethical standards and impeccable character
A process improvement orientation and desire to achieve higher levels of organizational excellence. Successful track record seeking and achieving continuous improvement, as well as reducing cycle times improving project performance
Able to challenge the status quo and current ways of operating, bringing new and innovative strategies to the team
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams within a matrix organization with superb internal and external customer relationship-
building and negotiation skills
