Main Purpose

Provide business continuity plans and exercises for TGS and TIPL; Support global Trafigura BCP framework

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume ownership and management of overall business recovery process
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring the development of each of the business processes working with team leaders
  • Schedule and conduct project planning sessions as required
  • Perform organization wide business impact analysis (BIA) and signed off by respective business leaders
  • Work with global team and remote locations as an overall service provider and ensure to adhere to global BCP / BCM framework
  • Monitor the business recovery plan development and schedule deliverables for each team
  • Ensure maintenance of plan through annual review and team leaders updates as changes take place. Periodic and comprehensive assessment to ascertain the program effectiveness (semi-annually)
  • Develop and give overview presentation internally and provide training to ensure continued awareness
  • Schedule, attend, coordinate and conduct planned tests
  • o Document problems

    o Assign problem resolution to individuals

    o Monitor to ensure correction

  • Work with Infrastructure organization to ensure all problems are escalated to disaster event
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • 8-10 years of business and IT experience with at least 3 years of BCM core experience with leading multinational institution
  • Familiar with mid office / back office business and IT infrastructure requirements for disaster recovery requirements
  • Key Relationships

    Reports to the BCP head in London and administratively to the TGS VP of IT in Montevideo
