At Trafilea we’re looking for a super talented copywriter for Shapermint, our shapewear online boutique that has grown from $0 to $50 million in 9 months.

We want someone who’s passionate about female empowerment, the body-positive movement, retail, fashion but, most of all, making people happy.

The ideal candidate should also have a strong background in marketing copy and hard sales - but prefer to work for the softer, branded side of the equation.

We are looking for dynamic, dedicated and committed individuals with a strong desire to grow, that can drive the brand forward on its truly exciting journey.

Key responsibilities

Create all copy for all Shapermint communications including (but not limited to) : promotional and content emails, customer support email templates, facebook messenger, blog, video scripts for content and promotional purposes, decks and marketing materials, product descriptions, catalogs, inserts, thank you notes, stickers, and more.

Assist in other copy-centric activities, helping other teams out (social media, acquisition, etc).

Research markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original, following the brand tone and voice.

Constantly read, analyze and provide insights, but also conduct personal research to understand the needs, behavior, interests, and languages of our customers.

Perfectly understand the business set-up and the retention strategy through the multiple touch points and channels : email, phone, Facebook Messenger, Surveys.

Apply and maintain consistency with the Shapermint voice and our content standards.

Understand our different customers' segments, adapting the communication to each one.

Working directly with marketing teams to create communication that drives more sales from our customers. Driving revenue also feels awesome!

Analyze the performance of copy across platforms (be curious about the results of your proposals).

Always looking to learn and iterate and improve on an idea.

Understanding why something did / didn’t resonate and go at it again.

Propose, conduct and report tests without mercy.
