An individual with deep passion for innovation and performance, to work in the DevOps team.
Provides application support by utilizing monitoring tools and diagnostic methods.
Will be responsible in providing specialized technical and product support for Sabre hosted solutions, this includes troubleshooting and debugging complex software solutions.
Will be responsible for the planning, implementation, deployment, and measurement of Airline Solutions operational assets.
Should collaborate with the Technology, DBA, Security, Storage and other relevant enterprise operations teams for initiatives and incidents.
Should be able to drive root cause analysis for preventive actions and continually evaluate and improve our processes and application standards.
Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
Engage in day-to-day operational tasks as needed for management of monitoring and automation work.
Supports a 24x7 global environment leveraging distributed global team members.
Ability to communicate effectively to stake holders and higher management in terms of project status, incidents, problems and root cause.
Act as part of a DevOps team that maintains extensive development and test environments using Continuous Delivery methods
Supports the product operationally in an on-call rotation
Responsible in setting up, creating AWS instance, AWS deployments, administration, Operations and maintenance.

Good problem-solving skills, attention to details and data driven approach to arrive at quick solutions to situations.
Desired Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in IT Operations / DevOps / Application support team
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in UNIX / Linux platforms.
Strong knowledge on Oracle, SQL; able to troubleshoot issues.
Must have hands-on expertise in AWS platform, deployments, administration & Operations, which includes EC2, S3, Auto-scaling, LAMDA, CFS.
Knowledge and implementation experience of ITIL process, procedures and ITSM
Good knowledge in Scripting such as PERL, shell scripting is desired.
Experience in DevOps support for applications using Java, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat, Linux.
Knowledge in any scheduling tool like CRON, Autosys.
Knowledge in DevOps tools such as Ansible and any orchestration tools.
Knowledge of MongoDB or document-based repository a plus.
Understanding of DNS / Firewalls / Load balancing and network design.
Knowledge of the java applications in a production environment beneficial.
Hands on experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Software Applications in support of business processing requirements.
