Job Description

Supervises the day-to-day operations of a high performing Team of Specialists that handle customer service and technical inquiries from our Travel Agency Customers.

Plans, directs, supervises and evaluates work flow.

Coordinates work activities to meet operational requirements. Recognizes and recommends operational improvements.

Responsible for the day-to-day application of organizational policies and procedures.

Monitors performance of staff members according to established monitoring standards and provides appropriate feedback & coaching to employees.

May make hiring decisions and conduct performance appraisals. Typically serves as first line supervisor.

Required Skills :

  • Proven track record of successful performance in leadership positions (at least 1-year of leadership experience).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and make decisions to solve them.
  • Ability to provide technical support and coaching to the Team.
  • Proven ability to work with sophisticated computer software.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English - proficient level required.
  • Nice to have skills :

  • Experience with travel distribution / reservation systems including understanding the procedures related to the reservation, ticketing and fulfillment of travel bookings.
  • Other language professional fluency will receive special consideration.
  • Experience working at a travel agency and / or airline reservation or other travel industry provider
  • Travel industry knowledge.
