Make a Difference

Establish and manage efficient and seamless Treasury Operations for all Americas businesses in close collaboration with the other Finance Operations streams in Montevideo, Business Treasurers in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Wilmington, as well as Group Treasury in Basel.

Through the values Passion for Customers , How Matters and Determined Execution you will co-lead the Americas Treasury community together with the Business Treasurers to ensure cross-

regional best practice sharing, development planning, and capability development.

Here is how this role will be critical to our business :

You will lead a team of eight professionals in Montevideo in pursuit of the following responsibilities :

  • Cash management operations
  • FX risk management operations including local dealing
  • Monthly reporting and analytics
  • Monthly and annual forecasting cycles
  • Internal controls ownership
  • Qualifications

    Essential for this position :

  • University degree required
  • 4+ years experience in Treasury or in Finance with a Treasury link in international companies or local companies with foreign operations
  • Fluent English level
  • Team lead experience
  • Experience with the setup of and relationships with external counterparties, particularly banks
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory environment, with a focus on Americas
  • Effective communication of complex matters across organizational and geographical boundaries
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Risk mindset
  • Customer orientation combined with focus on the bottom-line
  • Nice to Have *Optional

  • Postgraduation in Finance is preferred (CFA, MBA)
  • Intermediate Portuguese and Spanish level preferred
